Dr. Rodriguez provides volunteer dental services along with her colleagues at the North Carolina Missions of Mercy (NCMOM) charity dental program events.
NCMOM is an outreach program of the North Carolina Dental Society. The program is sponsored by the North Carolina Dental Health Fund.
The North Carolina Dental Health Fund mission is "To provide free dental services to those in financial need with few or no other options".
Founded in 2003, the North Carolina Missions of Mercy program has held over 76 two-day free dental clinics across North Carolina from Murphy to Kill Devil Hills.
The NCMOM program is dependent on volunteers, with funding from grants and donations. Since its beginning in 2003 the program has received national and statewide recognition. They welcome and accept donations and volunteer support.
